Terms of Use
Using Ember
You must be at least 21. You are responsible for what you write. Do not use Ember to break the law, to harass others or to create content involving minors.
AI characters
Characters are fictional and written by AI. They are not real people, they cannot give professional advice and they may make mistakes. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Gems and subscriptions
Gems and Black Roses are virtual items for use in Ember and have no cash value. Black Roses pay for AI voice notes, narrated scenes, songs and pictures. Black Roses you buy do not expire; Black Roses included with Plus or Ultra expire 35 days after they are added. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your store account. Purchases are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Its terms and applicable refund rights apply.
Characters you create
You keep your rights in what you create. You promise you have the right to use it and that every character is an adult. We may review, reject or remove characters and accounts that break these terms. Ember has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours and removed, and the users who posted it are removed.
Reports and removal
Report illegal or infringing content in the app or write to support@emberstory.app. We act on valid reports.
Changes and ending
You can stop using Ember and delete your account at any time. We may update these terms and will tell you in the app when we do.
